Kanye West announces two new albums, one with Kid Cudi
The rapper divulged the information via Twitter
Kanye West has announced on Twitter that he's releasing two new albums.
On Thursday, the Chicago rapper gave the details one tweet at a time that he'd be releasing one album on his own and one with Kid Cudi.
West revealed that his long-awaited record would arrive June 1.
The rapper also provided information about the track list.
He succinctly wrote, "My album is 7 songs."
But West had more information to share: he also told fans that he and Kid Cudi would be releasing a project together on June 8.
"Me and Cudi album June 8th," he tweeted. "It's called Kids See Ghost. That's the name of our group."
West previewed his new project on Charlamagne Tha God's radio show in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
Since West's return to Twitter last week, fans have been asking about new music.
He revealed he'd be writing a philosophy book in real-time on Twitter and was seen tweeting advice like, "Truth is my goal. Controversy is my gym. I'll do a hundred reps of controversy for a 6 pack of truth."
West's new album in June will be his first LP since 2016's The Life of Pablo.
