Kanye West looked hugely unimpressed by Macklemore's VMA performance
But he definitely enjoyed The Weekend’s set

Kanye West may have been pleased to accept the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs, but when it came to Macklemore debuting his new song “Downtown”, Kanye was less impressed.
According to the picture above doing the rounds on social media, Kanye was borderline disgusted by Macklemore’s live performance outside the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles with the help of Sugar Hill Gang and Foxy Shazam.
Kanye’s facial expressions have helped the self-professed musical genius steal the show for another year running at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The rapper and singer jokingly tried to storm the stage during Taylor Swift’s performance, but Swift got her own back for his 2009 interruption.
When presenting Kanye with the Video Vanguard Award, the ceremony’s highest honour, she used his infamous line: “Imma let you finish”, before adding: “Kanye West had one of the greatest careers of all time.”
If Kanye wasn’t so sure about Macklemore, he definitely liked The Weeknd’s performance:
