Kanye West now wants to change the name of his new album So Help Me God to SWISH

In his latest whim, Kanye West has decided to change the name of his upcoming album from So Help Me God to SWISH.

He’s warned that he may well change it again, but for now we’ll have to get used to the five letter word in capital letters (which bears some similarity to TIDAL).

Kanye last used the word in March to introduce a series of naked photographs of Kim Kardashian on his Twitter feed, writing: “SWISH!!!” before posting the images of his wife.

It was also the same day the rapper was confirmed to headline Glastonbury festival, but he had more pressing things to share with the world.

Other theories about SWISH suggest it could be a reference to basketball when the ball lands clean through the hoop, or to drug culture as swishers are used to roll cannabis cigars.

Kanye has shared three tracks from his upcoming album so far, including “Only One” featuring Rihanna and Paul McCartney, “Wolves” with Sia and “All Day”, which he debuted at the Brit Awards in February.

The rapper has yet to announce a release date for his anticipated album, so who knows if he will change his mind again.
