Kanye West has set himself up for Star Wars Day (4 May) in the only way Kanye knows how: by attempting to supersede it.

The artist phoned into The Steve Harvey Morning Show to announce his intentions to launch a Life of Pablo tour in September; declaring that his, "tour game is strong. My tour game is unprecedented."

So unprecedented, in fact, that his intentions for the tour are to, "literally inspire these kids the way Disney inspired me, the way, you know, when I saw the original Star Wars." It's not entirely unsurprising news, with Kanye already hinting at a tour on the horizon in his tweet reading, "I'm working on the tour designs now... "

Kayne also discussed the making of "Ultralight Beam", which he apparently, "can't explain that song in notes. I can't explain it in rhythm. I can't explain it in drumbeats. I can only explain that feeling."

"Like, literally, this was all coming together a week-and-a-half before the album to the point where we had to make it the first song on the album and when we did that show at Madison Square Garden–the presentation, which sold out in 10 minutes, 16,000 people coming to a fashion show–we took the thousand people that were covered and when Kirk's choir opened up at the end and we exposed those thousand people, I mean, people just, I think that was a little moment of possibility that I was able to express for the eight times that I've met with Walt Disney and said, "Look, man, I ain't got no more money at this point. I done shot films. I've done fashion. Could you just help me put together a production company that I can, like, make some more dope stuff for the world?"

No word on how the Disney company responded to the appeal, yet he later apologised for tweeting to Wiz Khalifa, "I own your child!!!!" in January. He responded, "I've talked to Wiz. I mean, Amber's talked to Kim, but I really wanna really stress the amount of respect that I have for parents and that there is no concept of anyone–anyone–being able to own someone else's child or that type of concept, so everyday I actually feel more deeply, deeply, deeply apologetic about that concept because I only want to put out positive, positive, positive concepts."
