Lizzo shows her drunken Instagram message to Chris Evans in TikTok

After Lizzo shared her excruciating drunk message to Chris Evans with fans, the Avengers star has responded in the most understanding way possible.

Lizzo showed just how relatable she is over the weekend when she posted a TikTok revealing she had slid into Evans’s DMs on Instagram while inebriated.

She posted a series of emojis implying she was “shooting her shot”, as she explained in a voiceover that she was upset at the thought that she was “not going to be able to marry him”.

“Honestly it hurts me to the core,” she said. “Because damn papa, he a rare breed, no comparing.”

“Don’t drink and DM, kids,” she captioned the post, adding: “For legal porpoises this is a joke.”

However, Evans has shown once again that he has an excellent sense of humour. Not only has he now followed Lizzo back on Instagram, he actually replied to her message.

“No shame in a drunk DM,” he wrote, adding a kiss emoji. “God knows I’ve done worse on this app lol.”

Evans was likely referring to the now-notorious incident in which he appeared to accidentally share a very explicit image to his Instagram Stories last September.

After the ensuing uproar on social media, he tweeted the next day:"Now that I have your attention.... VOTE Nov 3rd!!!” in an attempt to encourage fans to vote in the US election.

Lizzo shared Evans’ response to her DM in a new video from her TikTok account.
