Mariah Carey shares ‘Oh Santa! remix starring Jennifer Hudson and Ariana Grande
Song is included in the pop star’s new Christmas special on Apple TV+
Mariah Carey has released a remix of her Christmas song, “Oh Santa!” with Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson.
The pop star teased the collaboration back in November, posting a photo from a music video shoot with chairs marked with the singers’ initials.
The song has now dropped after featuring in Carey’s new Apple TV+ show, titled Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special.
“Oh Santa!”originally appeared on Carey’s second Christmas album and 13th studio album, Merry Christmas II You, which was released in 2010.
An accompanying video for the “Oh Santa!” remix shows the three singers performing in Santa’s workshop with an audience of elves.
At the time of writing, the video had already received close to a million views on YouTube, five hours after its release.
Carey is known for her hit song “All I Want For Christmas is You”, which regularly charts during the festive season.
It is widely regarded as one of the world’s most popular Christmas songs.
Last year, the song finally topped the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time, 25 years after it was released.
Carey released her memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, in September, and released a new album of rarities shortly after.
