Michael Jackson’s brother Tito has revealed that the late pop star’s family could soon be releasing new music that he “left behind”.

“There is more music to release. They have music. He left behind music,” Tito told The Sun.

Jackson went into cardiac arrest after overdosing on sedatives and died in June 2009. His personal physician Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in November 2011 and sentenced to four years in prison.

Tito disclosed that the Jackson family is planning to record a new track and a studio album featuring previously unheard material from the “Billie Jean” singer.

“It would be so pleasing to be on a record with Michael once again,” he said. “Anything that would work we would be willing to give a try and see what happens.”

Jackson was the frontman of the Jackson 5 in the 1960s, before embarking on a solo career in 1971 and releasing a string of record-breaking albums.

The “Beat It” singer’s career was rewarded with 13 Grammy Awards, as well as the Grammy Legend Award and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award; 6 Brit Awards, 5 Billboard Music Awards, and 24 American Music Awards.
