Having recently cancelled multiple tour dates, Morrissey has done something rather unusual and ranked his top 15 audiences of the past year.

The former Smiths frontman posted the list to the True-To-You website, alongside a note expressing his annoyance at the cancellation of the world tour’s final six shows.

“The shock and sadness that we all feel - for ourselves, and for our devoted friends in Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio, has left us in unrecoverable despair,” Morrissey wrote, taking aim at the managment company 360 Management.

Of the 15 cities named by Morrissey as having the best audiences, the singer's only UK date in Manchester ranked 8th. Topping the list is Philadelphia, closely followed by Brooklyn, and Hong Kong. The singer called the ranked dates as having audiences made of “ragingly loyal” fans.
