MGMT, the Booklyn indie duo due to release its second album, Congratulations, is the most blogged musical act on March 12, according to the Hype Machine. Holding second and third place are French electro-house artist Kavinsky and Austin, Texas chillwave band Neon Indian.

Four-piece group Neon Indian performs music composed by band member Alan Palomo, who previously performed under the moniker VEGA. Palomo's new project began garnering mention from bloggers and media in 2009 when its debut album Psychic Chasms was named Best New Music by Pitchfork Magazine. The band has just released a new track, "Sleep Paralysist," that is being shared by music bloggers. Above the Fold (above-thefold.com) writes, "Palomo is a real deal synth genius, rehoming a wide range of textures in a soundscape previously unheard as VEGA."

New Jersey rock band Titus Andronicus is also in the day's top ten list, following the March 9 release of its second album, The Monitor. Bloggers are sharing tracks including "A More Perfect Union" and "Four Score Part 1" from the American Civil War-themed album. Hear Ya (www.hearya.com) reviews, "Their songs can make you feel like you're riding a 50 foot wave one moment and crashing into the rocks the next. It's both an exhilarating and exhausting album."
