Christina Aguilera has released a new Mulan song, 22 years after the iconic tune “Reflection”.
The singer unveiled the new track on Friday.
“Loyal Brave True” was recorded for the upcoming live-action Mulan reboot, scheduled for release on 27 March in the US and in the UK.
Aguilera also said she has recorded a “reimagined” version of “Reflection” for the movie.
“Mulan has been such a special part of my life and this is a beautiful continuation of the legacy,” she tweeted.
“Reflection”, which was released as part of the soundtrack of the 1998 animated version of Mulan, has become a fan favourite.
The soundtrack for the live-action version of Mulan will be released on 25 March.
The movie, based on the Chinese story of Hua Mulan, stars Liu Yifei as the title character, as well as Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An and Gong Li.
