Muse will return to the UK to continue their Drones tour in London and Manchester in April 2016.

The world tour will see the band play “in the round” from the middle of the arenas they are performing at for the the first time.

The tour follows the release of their chart-topping latest album of the same name, which was described by The Independent as “unrepentantly ambitious and laced with emotional intrigue”.

Muse began their Drones would tour in Norwich for Radio 1’s Big Weekend in May, and have since played at festivals across Europe including Sonisphere Festival in Switzerland, Lollapalooza in Berlin and Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands.

The band returned to the UK briefly to perform at the Download Festival in Derby in June.

The dates for Muse’s UK Drones tour will be:

8 April - Manchester Arena

11 April - The O2, London

12 April - The O2, London

Tickets go on sale on Friday 18 September (www.axs.com).
