Rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again, born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, has reportedly been arrested in Florida for an outstanding felony warrant.

The 19-year-old, who is also know as NBA YoungBoy, was found as a fugitive from Waycross, Georgia, where he is charged with alleged assault, weapons violations and kidnapping, TMZ reports.

He was scheduled to perform a sold-out show at Moon nightclub on Saturday 24 February, but the performance was cancelled.

A representative from the club said in a statement: "Our understanding is he was arrested by the US Marshalls on an outstanding warrant from Georgia, at approximately 1am.

"He was heading over to The Moon for his scheduled 1.30am performance."

YoungBoy was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2017 after he pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault with a firearm. He had originally been charged with attempted first-degree murder for involvement in a drive-by shooting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

He was given a suspended sentence and placed on active supervised probation for three years. Local news website WAFB points out the latest arrest in Florida could be a potential violation of his probation.

YoungBoy was named a "prodigy" in the hip hop community by Fader when he was just 16-years-old. He has released several mixtapes including Life Before Fame and three instalments of Mind of a Menace.
