Noel Gallagher called Hull a "f****** s***hole" on-stage at a concert in the US after British fans in the audience began chanting about their hometown.
Gallagher was performing as Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds at The Moody Theater during Austin City Limits when he hurled the insult at the crowd.
A group of men from Hull were loudly shouting "we are Hull, we are Hull, we are Hull" when Noel interjected asking, "Are you English?"
Noel couldn't hear what they were chanting, and asked, "For f*** sake. Where are you from? Don't f****** tell me, Newcastle? Liverpool? Leeds? F*****' Yorkshire?"
Then he asked, "Hull? From Hull? How the f*** can you afford to be in America from Hull? Did you f****** rob your gran's house or something?"
The former Oasis musician continued saying, "Don't want to be miserable right, [but] it's a f****** s*******."
However Gallagher didn't stop there, he said all Hull has is "a f****** bridge," which he called "s***."
He added a caveat saying "no offence."
Luckily the Hull natives weren't offended by Gallagher's comments - it gave them something to remember about their visit to America.
One of the concert attendees called Ben told Hull Daily Mail, "Once he heard us chanting Hull was when he had a bit of a dig but nothing we haven’t heard over the years anyway."

Ben added that it was a "bit of a a laugh" and locals ended up asking them about the Humber Bridge after the show.
We can only presume Noel is unaware the Hull was the official UK City of Culture in 2017...
