Dry those tears, One Direction fans.

This isn't the end. Though Zayn Malik left the band last year to make his break and churn out a suitably "mature" record in Mind of Mine, followed by the news Liam Payne had signed up to Capital Records UK in an effort to also go solo; we've finally been given some reassurance that One Direction still lives, in some form.

During a radio appearance on the US' Most Requested Live with Romeo, band member Niall Horan promised there would be "plenty more One Direction shows" in the future. The comment came in response to a question as to whether Horan would prefer an amazing round of golf, or one more One Direction gig.

A question Horan was quick to clarify with, "It's not a case of one more show. There's going to be plenty more One Direction shows. That's a guarantee... There's definitely more than one."

That said, Harry Styles - currently starring in Christopher Nolan's upcoming Dunkirk - seems less confident about the reunion; telling AnOther magazine, "I would never say we'll never do anything ever again, but it's good for us to be exploring different things. Maybe at some point everyone will want to do something again but it'll be better if it happens naturally like, 'Hey, we all really want to do this again'. If that were to happen it would be amazing."

Horan comes off the back of releasing his first solo single, 'This Town', which debuted at number 9 on the week's charts.
