Pale Waves thought they were ‘going to die’ during tour bus crash
Manchester band’s bus overturned and caught fire while travelling to Berlin last week
Goth-pop band Pale Waves have said that they are “grateful to be alive” after their tour bus crashed last week.
They had confirmed at the time that there were no serious injuries. The band were travelling to Germany to support Halsey on her European tour.
On Instagram, drummer Ciara Doran revealed: ”this will stay with me forever.”
“I know I’ve kept quiet about what exactly happened, it’s been taxing both mentally and physically and I still cannot wrap my head around it.”
The post is accompanied by images of the accident, with one particularly worrying photo showing the bus burned out and overturned.
“Being trapped in the bus after it rolled off the road is one of the scariest things I’ve ever experienced,” she continued.
“We honestly thought we were going to die. The injuries will heal but this will stay with me and everyone involved for forever.
The crash has meant that the Manchester-based band have had to pull out of several planned performances.
