The Chemical Brothers, Major Lazer and Ice Cube will play this year's Parklife festival, The Independent can reveal.

Joining them in Manchester's Heaton Park will be the likes of chart-toppers Bastille, iconic rappers Busta Rhymes and Jamie XX.

You can see the full line-up in the above video, featuring the wonderful work of Kate Moross, who has previously done animation for Alpines, Simian Mobile Disco and Jessie Ware.

Also playing the festival - which can hold over 70,000 people per day - are the Grammy award-nominated Wolf Alice, Grime MC Stormzy and indie favourites Circa Waves.

Jess Glynne, Years & Years and Katy B are also set to make appearances, with yet more acts to be announced.

Last year's festival saw the likes of Disclosure and Rudimental headline, as well as memorable performances from Wu Tang Clan, Everything Everything and Nas.

This is the festival's seventh year, with Snoop Dogg, Foals and Sam Smith having played in 2014.

Parklife 2016 will take place 11-12 June, with tickets available from 9am on the 11 February through the official website.
