Pink in ‘giggles’ after angering Trump supporters for mocking Tulsa rally turnout
Singer said she'd sold out the same arena in five minutes
Pink has expressed her delight over the angry response she’s receiving from Trump supporters after mocking the turnout of his rally in Tulsa.
After the president’s rally failed to draw anything close to the one million people he had claimed would attend, the singer tweeted: “I think I sold that same place out in five minutes. #donkeyshow.”
She added, referencing the coronavirus pandemic: “Don’t hurt the people that love you. I would never ask people to come to an arena right now. No good person would.”
Pink’s comments incited rage in manyTrump supporters – including some Fox News reporters – but the singer didn’t seem to care.
“You guys there’s so many Fox news reporters that are mad at me right now, it makes me giggle,” she wrote on Twitter.
“For some reason Trump supporters only have three arguments... 1. Shut up. 2. You’re a man 3. You’re irrelevant. Yet here they are on my page! Giggles all day, thanks.”
Trump’s rally took place in the 19,000-capacity BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where there were thousands of empty seats. Photos of the poor turnout swiftly began ciruclating on social media.
The rally was held against the advice of Trump’s own coronavirus task force, which had urged White House officials to cancel it amid fears it could spread coronavirus.

Attendees had to sign a waiver protecting the Trump campaign from responsibility for any illness. Six staff members involved in organising the rally tested positive for coronavirus.
The crowd was so underwhelming in size that a planned speech to the “overflow” crowd outside the centre was abandoned, because the overflow didn’t exist.
