Radiohead new album: Long-time collaborator Stanley Donwood describes King of Limbs followup as 'a work of art'

Over the last few months, Radiohead has been gently teasing their new album, announcing numerous festival headline slots and a world tour.

According to long-time collaborator Stanley Donwood - who has created all the band’s album artwork since 1995’s The Bends - it will be worth the wait.

Having listened to the new album, he told DIY that it is “a work of art”. However, as resoundingly positive as that sounds, apparently it isn’t quite finished just yet.

Whether that means whole tracks or just little adjustments need to be made is currently unknown.

Donwood went on to say that his favourite collaboration with Radiohead is “the one that no-one’s seen yet. It was made by the strong warm winds of southern France.” The band have been recording the as-yet-untitled in France.

Meanwhile, tickets for their London Roundhouse shows seemingly sold out in minutes, leading to much frustration from fans who complained both about the price and small venue (and therefore lack of tickets).
