The Rolling Stones have announced their first UK and Ireland shows in five years, which will take in dates in London, Cardiff and Manchester.

The iconic rock band last performed at Hyde Park in London in 2013. This new tour will begin at Croke Park in Dublin on 17 May, with an additional date added at the London Stadium on 25 May.

Their final show of the tour will take place at Twickenham Stadium in London on 19 June.

Keith Richards said: “It’s such a joy to play with this band there’s no stopping us, we’re only just getting started really.”

Mick Jagger added: ‘‘This part of the ‘No Filter’ tour is really special for the Stones. We are looking forward to getting back onstage in the summer and playing to fans in the UK and Ireland. It’s always exhilarating going to cities we haven’t played for quite a while and also some new venues for us like Old Trafford & The London Stadium.’’
