Snoop Dogg stars as delivery driver in new Just Eat advert
The advert will air during Friday’s ‘Gogglebox’
Snoop Dogg is set to appear as a delivery driver in a new advert for Just Eat.
The rapper was brought on board to remix the food delivery company’s “Did somebody say Just Eat” jingle, with the new advert that will air during Friday’s episode of Gogglebox on C4.
In a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot, Snoop explains: “People said it could never be done: A Just Eat track that you can get down to.
“It was a great track, it had it’s run, it did a great job,” he continues.
“But it needed an upgrade, that’s why they brought me in, you know, to put some spice on it.”
Further clips show the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” musician sat in the studio working on the track, dressed in regency period costume and riding a delivery bike.
Snoop, 48, was this week forced to delay his UK and Ireland tour until February 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He was due to be joined by Warren G, Tha Dogg Pound, Obie Trice, D12 and Versatile on the “I Wanna Thank Me” tour.
