Beyonce falls over when she picks up Solange at Coachella

Solange has cancelled her Coachella performances due to “major production delays”.

The festival announced the news on Twitter on the evening of Sunday, 7 April. The full announcement reads: “Due to major production delays, Solange will unfortunately no longer be performing at this year’s festival. She sends her sincerest apologies, and looks forward to performing at Coachella in the future.”

This year, the festival will be held over back-to-back weekends on 12-14 April and 19-21 April. Tickets are sold out.

The two Fridays, 12 and 19 April, will see rapper Childish Gambino headline, with Janelle Monáe, the 1975, DJ Snake, Diplo, Rüfüs Du Sol, Blackpink, Anderson Paak, and Kacey Musgraves among those performing.

On the Saturdays, 13 and 20 April, Tame Impala will headline days featuring Kid Cudi, Weezer, Aphex Twin, J Balvin, Billie Eilish, Bassnectar, Four Tet, Christine and the Queens, Wiz Khalifa, and Mac DeMarco.

Coachella’s Sunday line-up, on 14 and 21 April, will conclude with a headline set from Ariana Grande, alongside performances from Khalid, Zedd, Gesaffelstein, Bad Bunny, Dillon Francis, and CHVRCHES.

Kanye West will bring his Sunday Service to the festival. West was originally meant to headline the Coachella, which takes place in Indio, California, but dropped out shortly before the lineup announcement, reportedly due to the festival’s refusal to build him a custom-made dome on site. He was replaced by new headliner Grande.
