It would be fair to say Stormzy had an eventful night at the MTV European Music Awards.

The musician not only managed to get stranded in the ladies’ toilets of all places, get serenaded by Bono singing Stormzy’s very own song “Blinded By Your Grace Pt 2” but even bagged the award for best worldwide act for the UK and Ireland.

The first incident happened just before the rapper performed single “Big For Your Boots” to thousands of fans at the awards show in London. Stormzy accidentally walked into the ladies toilet before his performance but only became aware of his blunder when hearing lots of girls outside the cubicle.

Chronicling the mistake on Snapcat, Stormzy said he was concerned he would “look mad creepy” if he walked outside the cubicle.

Fortunately for him, his friend Kenneth was outside to help him safely sidestep other guests and perform his single.

Stormzy also enjoyed U2 frontman Bono singing a rendition of his song. The 24-year-old tweeted "Bruvvvvvvv OMGGGG I’m hearing U2 sang Blinded By Your Grace PT.2 ?!?!" and included four blushing red-faced emojis.
