The Chemical Brothers have announced the release of their first album since 2010, entitled Born in the Echoes.

It's release coincides with their upcoming festival appearances at Glastonbury, Bestival and Sonar, and will be their eighth studio album.

Heralding the new record is single ‘Sometimes I Feel So Deserted’, a four-to-the-floor club banger sure to get festival fields bouncing.

Collaborators on the new 11-track album include St. Vincent, Q-Tip and recent Grammy winner Beck, marking his first musical output since his album Morning Phase.

Since their last release half a decade ago – 2010’s Further - the band have released numerous pieces of music. In 2011 they sound tracked Joe Wright’s Hanna, followed in 2012 by creating music for the Velodrome at the London 2012 Olympics.
