Tinie Tempah, Robin Thicke, Sean Paul and Schoolboy Q have been added to the line-up for this summer’s Wireless Festival.

Headlining the popular music event are Drake, Kanye West and Bruno Mars, with the latter two US artists performing their only live UK gigs of the year.

Other new announcements include Naughty Boy, Labrinth, Meridian Dan, Lizzo, Elli Ingram, Blonde, Rixton and and Say Lou Lou.

Rudimental, Outkast, Pharrell Williams, Basement Jaxx, Ellie Goulding, John Newman, Clean Bandit, J Cole, 2 Chainz, Knife Party and Foxes are all set to appear, alongside many more previously confirmed acts.

Steve Homer, Wireless organizer, told the Birmingham Mail that work on the line-up started as soon as 2013’s extravaganza finished.

“It’s been in the process since after the last event last July,” he said. “We’ve got Bruno Mars and Kanye West exclusively. That exclusivity is hard to achieve and, obviously, comes at a price. These are real A-list artists, it takes a lot of funds to get these acts along.”

Wireless will be taking place across two sites for the first time, in London’s Finsbury Park (as opposed to the Olympic Park of past years) and Birmingham’s Perry Park. The three day event runs from 4-6 July with weekend tickets starting at £160.

Last year’s festival was headlined by Justin Timberlake and Jay Z, who performed together with Rihanna on the closing night.
