Rita Wilson has created a quarantine playlist while she and Tom Hanks remain in isolation due to coronavirus.

The actor and singer shared the playlist – aptly dubbed Quarantunes – via Twitter on Friday.

She had previously asked social media users for suggestions for song ideas as well as potential names for the playlist.

“I want to make a @Spotify playlist for people self-quarantining,” she wrote at the time.

“Something that might relate to isolation, perhaps? Can you send some song ideas that I can add? Also, what should we call it? Quarantine Choruses? This is what one does in quarantine. U think of stuff like this.”

On Friday, she shared a link to the Spotify playlist, writing: “And the winner for the quarantine playlist naming is QUARANTUNES! Head to @Spotify to listen.”

The playlist includes songs such as Richard Marx’s “Right Here Waiting”, her own version of “Leaving on a Jet Plane”, Eric Carmen’s “All By Myself”, The Beatles’ “I’m So Tired”, and Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”.

The Bee Gee’s “Night Fever”, Queen’s “I Want to Break Free”, and Destiny’s Child’s “Survivor”, also feature.

Tom Hanks, Wilson’s husband, announced earlier this week that they have both been diagnosed with Covid-19.

The pair are currently in isolation in Australia.
