Tyler, the Creator has announced he will release a new album titled IGOR next week.

The record will serve as a follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2017 LP Flower Boy, and drop on 17 May via Columbia Records.

It will mark the rapper and producer's sixth full-length album, including his 2009 mixtape BASTARD.

His Music Inspired by Illumination & Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch EP was released in 2018.

The new album announcement was made on Twitter and was accompanied by two album covers.

The first is reportedly inspired by Grace Jones, while the second was designed by Lewis Rossignol.

Last week he dropped two clips teasing new music, but has yet to release a full song from IGOR.

The album will precede his performance at the Governor's Ball Music Festival in New York, which takes place between 31 May to 2 June.
