A quartet of avantly inclined souls – including Derek Bailey's drum chum Steve Noble and Stephen O'Malley, guitarist in Sunn0))) – getting into some sort of weird anti-groove live in Oslo.
Don't expect mayhem, though. This is meditative, spacious, profoundly dark music, evidently haunted by Miles Davis's early-1970s excursions into free electronica, as well as the wolves of the Nordic imagination. Not the cool thing to do, but one might sum up by going "plunk! ping!!! zzzzzzsssssscccch".
