The Feast are an augmented duo, configured around the robust presences of Pauls Sartin and Hutchinson, one of Bellowhead, the other of Hoover the Dog – respectively voice/violin, oboe and accordion.

They dress Trad Arr material with English folk arrangements so skimpy one might blow bubbles between the fibres. Jim Moray produces and Pete Flood and Jackie Oates contribute plunks and scrapes. The effect is both austere and humorous and sometimes severely beautiful.
