Pastoral English psychedelicism has a long and curly reach.
Here it penetrates the folds of a young, female, synaesthetic songwriter/guitarist of great accomplishment and solipsism: the self set adrift on sensory bliss – abstract, artful, allusive, whispery, ever so slightly precious. She's a fine player, though, and clearly possessed of a vision, which may compensate for her mannered way of decorating a melody. She's better when she introduces tempo and snap, as are we all.
