It remains to be seen whether they'll shortly be needing to alter their name to 4our, but, for now, this is Five's moment. Five – or, let's face it, Five's "people" – know a killer sample when they hear one, and as well as the ubiquitous Chic-based chart-topper "Let's Dance", Kingsize boasts a number of tracks which cannot fail to charm with their blatant, bludgeoning use of familiar tunes. "Lay All Your Loving On Me" employs AC/DC's "Back in Black" to possibly greater effect than the Beastie Boys' very similar "Rock Hard", and the self-consciously kinky lyrics ("High heels, black leather / Thigh high, even better") are a hoot. "Rock The Party" does much the same with Frankie Valli's "Grease". "Take Your Chances On Me" is a rewrite of their own "Keep On Movin'" and "Let's Get It On" is a wet ballad which has nothing to with Marvin, but if ya gettin' down, baby, those subtlety-free samplefests are all you'll ever need.
