Celebrating a decade of working with his trio partners, bassist Tarus Mateen and drummer Nasheet Waits, US pianist Jason Moran brings together an odd but satisfying jumble of influences and contexts.

Festival and ballet commissions sit alongside nods to fellow pianists, plus two delightful reworkings of studies by the great maverick composer Conlon Nancarrow, all linked by the emotional chording of gospel music. There's an air of pedagogic earnestness, but fair enough: Moran has something to teach.
