Drummer Edison Machado is an absolute marvel, keeping up a sustained attack that anticipates the hip-hopping, polyrhythmic style of Brian Blade or Jeff "Tain" Watts, while Salvador himself is a twinkler par excellence. Imagine a hard bossa version of the Dudley Moore Trio and you're halfway there.
