Solomon Burke has already warmed the 21st century with a couple of albums of burnished old-skool soul.
Here's a third, a record lent additional resonancy by the fact that it may well prove to be the last work of the great Memphis producer, Willie Mitchell.
And because both men are paragons of stylistic fidelity, Nothing's Impossible sounds exactly as you would expect a Solomon album produced by Willie to sound.
All it lacks is a couple of killer songs. And no, Randy Goodrum's "You Needed Me" isn't one.
