Quite how this singularly charmless young woman has foxed so many otherwise-sane people into believing she's the sophisticated saviour of British pop is a mystery, but the rhombus-faced one certainly knows a good collaborator when her porcine little eyes spy one. On Read My Lips, Blur's Alex James and ex-New Radicals renta-songwriter Gregg Alexander help out. "Murder On The Dancefloor" is a modern disco classic which will have the handbags piling up at provincial nitespots (an idea which would doubtless disgust Sophie, who sneers at high street shoppers but isn't above accepting cheques to model for Top Shop).
