Before he was a Stone, Ron Wood was a Face with a solo career. The first album came out in 1974 and he played Kilburn Gaumont to celebrate with a pick-up band comprising fellow-Face Ian McLagan, Willie Weeks and Andy Newmark (the must-have rhythm section) plus Ron's new best mate Keith Richards. Rod Stewart guested. Ron has been rummaging in his attic and lo, here be the tape. It's a gas too low in fi, obviously, yet high in wasted-rook factor and rock'*'roll elan. It comes with a grungey DVD of the show. Keith wears a double-cutaway Les Paul Jnr. Nice.
