Z Berg is, without a doubt, a gifted songwriter and a singer of some charm.

That she chooses to waste such skills on a project such as the Like is bewildering. This Mark Ronson-produced, LA-based girl group are as sweet as a Krispy Kreme doughnut and about as nutritional. A love of 1960s pop and what they still, charmingly, refer to as "British Invasion sounds" is all very well. But just making the lyrics a bit saucy cannot be spun into moving things on and you really would be better off going back to the source.
