Singing Adams is the nom de mic of Steven Adams, best known as one of Broken Family Band, and Moves is a set of post-Belle and Sebastian indie-schmindie.
Based on his native London, its themes are hardly original but he handles them with likeability, the highlight being “London Trocadero”, inspired lyrically by the 2011 riots and musically, it would seem, by Billy Ocean’s “Red Light Spells Danger”. If nothing else, the man’s got taste.
