A Thousand Horses are your new favourite Nashville band. Fresh from releasing their new album Southernality, their sound is a lively, swaggering party recalling Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Crowes and the Rolling Stones.

"First Time", which is premiering exclusively in The Independent, unites deep southern rock and soul, while the video itself is a great montage of footage taken from their hit US tour.

USA Today named them one of 2015’s Artists to Watch and Rolling Stone Country hailed them as the Best Up-and-Comer at 2014’s Austin City Limits.

Their debut release ‘Smoke’ saw them become the first band to have a debut single reach #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart this decade, while its video received a nomination at the CMT Music Awards.
