The following diatribe, set deep in the ancient vaults of an unnamed bank, hides three organisations (loosely speaking), two of three words, one of two, all mentioned on the front page this week. The letters of each are jumbled in complete consecutive words.

"How dare they fire us? Cad offers IOU for pounds 114 a second and he tries to climb back into the bank? He's a financial fornicator. A creep! I'd set the UN on him!"

A Chambers Encyclopaedic Dictionary awaits the first correct disentanglement opened on 4 August. Entries to: Saturday Pastimes, The Independent, 1 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5DL.

Last week's answers: Royal Opera House (real soap you hero); Bank of England (flank banned go); Dean of Lincoln (Can fondle loin). Winner: Elaine Bisco (Plymouth)
