Incredible video shows 346 pictures of London in just over a minute
Over 200 people contributed to the compilation created by London Live
An incredible collection of some of London’s most iconic sites and scenes has been put together into a stunning compilation as part of a picture challenge run by television channel London Live.
A total of 346 different images were selected from pictures sent in to London Live’s Instagram page and then put together in the stunning minute long compilation.
Pictures from 222 individual contributors were used, including images of typical London landmarks such as Tower Bridge, Big Ben and The London Eye.
These themes in the past have included architecture, symmetry, Autumn and the world in a city.
Photographers are then encouraged to post their pictures on Instagram with the hashtag #londonlive.
Every Friday, 16 of the best images are chosen and put into a grid on the London Live Instagram page, as well as posted onto the London Live Facebook page.
Speaking about the video, Hemes said:” The response has been great! We've had some incredible photos sent in and each week I'm astounded at the quality. They really show a Londoners London.”
"It's always very hard selecting the images. They are so many great captures of our city! I try and feature some during the week by re-gramming them on Instagram to show others what brilliant photos people are taking.
“I really hope the video shows the best of London. From the London Eye to Tower Bridge and Tube signs to double-decker buses. I wanted it to be iconic London. There are a couple of places I would have loved to have included but I guess that gives me a great excuse to make a second!”
