The Contemporary Print Show

Once again the Barbican plays host to this unique art fair, the only one of its kind to offer only contemporary prints. This year's highlights include new works by Bruce McLean and Peter Blake at Coriander Studio, Paula Rego and Victor Pasmore at Marlborough Graphics, and Ray Richardson and Albert Irvin at Advanced Graphics.

From Fri to 22 Apr. Concourse Gallery, Barbican Centre, London EC2 (0171- 638 4141)

Josef Albers

The man who once described his work as "my nonsense", and whose influence can still be perceived today, is honoured with an exhibition of some 46 works, including paintings from the famous "Homage to the Square" series, "Structural Constellations" and rare works on paper on loan from the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation in Connecticut, USA.

From Thurs to 18 May. Waddington Galleries, London W1 (0171-437 8611)

John Deakin

A fascinating show of the photographs of Deakin, contemporary of Francis Bacon and fellow Soho-ite, offering an insight into the bewitching demi- monde inhabited during the Fifties and Sixties by such as Bacon, Freud and the late Michael Andrews. A unique piece of social history which should not be missed.

From Fri to 14 July. National Portrait Gallery, London WC2 (0171-306 0055)
