The Big Chill Enchanted Garden 99

While several commercial festivals are starting next weekend in Cornwall, the Big Chill provides a real alternative, set in beautiful Victorian gardens. No "stars" are booked but there are DJs, from Andy Kershaw to Gilles Peterson with drum'n'bass from Peshay and DJ Spooky, the innovative sounds of BJ Cole and Luke Vibert, plus live sets from Fila Brazilia, Fridge and others. Add art trails, cinema, mixed media and limited numbers and it really does get back to the true idea of a festival. Advance tickets only.
