The Queen visits the Sea Cadets Windsor Unit, Windsor, Berkshire. The Princess Royal visits the Macmillan Cancer Relief Carers' Scheme at North Lakeland Healthcare Trust's Central Clinic, Victoria Place, Carlisle; as President, the Princess Royal Trust for Carers, attends a luncheon at Castlestead, Brampton, Carlisle; officially opens the Hadrian's Wall Residential Study Centre at Birdoswald Roman Fort, Hadrian's Wall, near Gilsland, Cumbria; and, as Honorary Fellow, Green College, Oxford, attends a 20th Anniversary Dinner at the Radcliffe Observatory, Oxford.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion Welsh Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Coldstream Guards.
