The Earl of Wessex, Patron, Haddo Arts Trust, gives a lecture to the American Friends of the Trust at the Knickerbocker Club, 62nd Street, followed by dinner at 160 E 81st Street, New York. The Princess Royal, President, International League for the Protection of Horses, attends the Annual Seminar at Tattersalls, Park Paddock, Newmarket, Suffolk; and, as President, Animal Health Trust, attends the Council of Management Meeting, at Lanwades Park, Kentford, Suffolk. The Duke of Gloucester, President, Institute of Advanced Motorists, attends a dinner at the City of London Club, London EC2. The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Listening Books, attends the Annual Charity Awards at Drapers' Hall, London EC2.
