Those tabloid TV 'scoops' in short: Coronation Street star Helen Worth (Gail Platt) bought a cottage for pounds 55,000 three years ago and is now selling it for pounds 200,000; Donald Sinden was in hospital with a slipped disc; Beverly Hills 90210 actor Luke Perry was voted more kissable than co-star Jason Priestly; and the BBC criticised police camera teams who have taken to posing as TV crews at riots saying that it 'added to the considerable dangers already faced by news-gatherers'.
