Britain's present obsession with real crime continues with Animal Squad Undercover (C4), starting next month, which follows the work of undercover RSPCA inspectors. The camera crew follows cockfighting, dangerous dogs and live animal transportation across Europe and, to the advantage of the film, is attacked at an Italian abattoir while shooting a piece on Dutch pigs. The RSPCA is also mounting a series of roadshows around the country to accompany the programmes.
