The Noel Coward centenary offers treasures aplenty. The celebrations begin with Song at Twilight, his close-to-home play about a closeted gay writer, and there are juicy rumours of Juliet Stevenson starring in Private Lives at the National. On the musical front, ENO is planning his sublime operetta Bitter Sweet - but why no plans for High Spirits, the musical version of his Blithe Spirit? Patricia Routledge (right) would make a sensational Madame Arcati in the role created by Bea Lillie.

`Song at Twilight', King's Head, London N1 (0171-226 1916) to 24 Jan
