Where would cinema be without the wonders that were the Bond girls? Just think of those sleek sirens Ursula Andress, Diana Rigg, Jackie Clune... pardon? OK, so we never did get to see song-stylist Jackie deploying her bedroom eyes and sporting a becoming bikini, but as she confided to a few friends - oh, alright, the entire Albert Hall at the recent Stonewall benefit - she did get the call from Cubby Broccoli. She even went so far as to write a Bond theme: "Nasty Man".
Happily, she'll be singing it, and heaps more besides, in Follow the Star!, her festive Christmas Special at a log cabin near you - also known as The Drill Hall. She describes this lovingly crafted, snowbound, yuletide sleigh-ride of songs, silliness and not a small amount of seasonal dancing as Andy Williams with a twist of cyanide. You have been warned.
