Cuban ballet star Carlos Acosta's new show Premieres opened at the Coliseum Theatre in London this week.
The show sees Acosta, the great ballet dancer of his generation, perform five works accompanied by, amongst others, Zenaida Yanowsky, the Royal Ballet Principal.
The show features a new work choreographed by Acosta himself, and takes place on the largest stage in London: a setting unlikely to unnerve a man who, having first took up ballet classes as a punishment from his father, performed at Moscow's famed Bolshoi Theatre aged just 16.
