Alice Jones' Arts Diary
The enterprising Warwick Arts Centre is staging a leftfield Bond @ 50 celebration this weekend.
As James Bond marks 50 years in the cinema, Edward Bond is chalking up a half century since his first play, The Pope’s Wedding, premiered at the Royal Court. To celebrate, the playwright will unveil two new plays, about austerity and the evils of capitalism. Expect to be shaken and stirred.
